We arrived on 22 Aug 10 and was met my a Cheerful Neil and Jacquie and straight away felt welcome, they took their time in explaining things and assured that they were always available for anything that we needed. During the stay we spoke to them several times and they were always cheeful and pleasant and that made the holiday in terms of staff who cared. The lodge (we stayed for a week) was immaculate as were the gardens. Every little touch had been thought of including supplying a box of matches and kindling sticks and paper for the wood burning stove which did use mainly because it did not seem right not to use it. The locatation is perfect it is not called Wildside for nothing if you are looking for a peaceful idylic setting this is perfect if not then forget it. Wildlife was in plenty of abundance we will miss the shrew popping up in the lawn and hedgerow plenty of different types of birds to many to mention, pheasants even came and visited us and we say a red grouse on the other side of the river and I say my first live red squirrel, you do not need to be an ornotholigst to appreciate the wildlife. my wanted us stay for another week but alas no lodges vacant (what does that tell you). Everyone should visit here for a holiday at least once in their life, we are certainly planning on returning. I would like to wish Neil and Jacquie all the best for their wedding on Friday 3 Sep 10 I wish we were there it will be some event as they are holding it on site. Thanks to all for making it a memorable holiday.

Just got back from a brilliant week in the highlands. The accomodation was fantastic and clean with breath taking veiws across the mountains. The staff were very welcoming and were easily on hand should you need to speak to them. There were lovely walks to be had just outside the complex with Fort Augustus,Fort William and Inveness and Foyers Falls (definatly worth a visit for the stunning veiws). This is our second time here and it did not disappoint again and is highly recommended. We will certainly be back again to Wildside and the beautiful Highlands.

Had a very relaxing and invigorating stay at a superb lodge in an excellent location. Saw lots of wildlife - red squirrel, slow worm (size of a small snake), Red deer, dolphin, and numerous birds. Had plenty to do locally. Throughly enjoyed the BBQ/Karoke Neil and Jackie put on at their lodge - Wildcat. Sorry we didn't sing - couldn't sing tosave our lives. Hope to come again and will spread the word about your wonderful lodges. All the best for 3rd Sept. I am sure it will all go well, and the day will go much too fast.

Had the most amazing 10 night stay at this lodge. So sad when it was time to leave. Fantastic in every way : the lodge, the location, Jacquie & Neil so helpful and caring.
Cannot say anything bad about the place.
Wildside was so centrally located for us to tour around Scotland and then come back to a great home with the peace & tranquility that we were looking for.
So glad that we could take our dog too which made it even better.
Thoroughly recommended
